Our customers range from families looking to make their homes more fun, to celebrity customers, and interior designers, so excellent product knowledge and a creative marketing approach is essential.
We have 3 showrooms situated near Thornbury, with our head office and warehouse being based in Avonmouth. Our team is constantly growing and we're now 47 people strong spread over a range of departments - Marketing, Accounts, Operations, Sales, Customer Service, Warehouse, Deliveries and Logistics.
General Warehouse Operative - Pool Table Clother/Builder
The role:
Join our awesome team of 6 existing team members working in our warehouse looking after our exciting games room products, ranging from slate bed pool tables, pinball machines, jukeboxes to arcade machines.
You will be helping out in our warehouse picking, and preparing pool tables for customers and clients. Physical strength is required as the role requires you to be lift heavy pool tables but you will also be required to fix, repair, and recloth tables which we will train you how to do. You need to be focused, methodical and detail conscious. The cloth and the products are extremely expensive, so care and pride in your work is essential.
You will also be required to help with other warehouse duties, such as picking and packing small parcels, picking main products, receiving goods-in, general assistance with any tasks the team needs to undertake to operate a first-class warehouse.
You may also need to go out on deliveries to customers homes or to commercial premises, if we are busy or short of staff. This will involve handling and carrying our products and installing them. Full training will be given and you will always be working with a highly experienced team member.
Skills and experience must cover:
- Experience of working with your hands at detailed tasks
- Ability to organise your time and work schedule
- Eye for detail and take pride in your work
- Like to keep a clean and tidy work area

Rate of Pay: £24,000 per annum Basic Salary
This is based on working a 40 hour week, starting at 7 am from our Avonmouth Distribution Centre, finishing at 3:30pm. You will work Monday to Friday each week. We don't operate on weekends.
There may be some opportunities for overtime when we are busy, or if you are required to assist with any deliveries. These can frequently take longer than the normal 8 hour work day.
Monthly Bonuses: £100 per month for hitting your warehouse targets
You will need to maintain excellent standards for the month. You will be given an achievable target to reach.

The Role:
You will be joining our vibrant and successful sales team based in our showrooms in North Bristol. You’ll be educating and enthusing about our products to interested customers who have made contact with you. We’ve built an amazing portfolio of the best pool tables, arcade machines, jukeboxes, shuffleboards and other games room must haves in the world. We're suppliers of pool tables and table tennis tables for live competitions on Sky TV and are exclusive UK retailers of the top brands in the industry.
Sales enquiries come through to us by phone, live chat, email, or visit our showrooms. All the customers come to you, mostly having visited our multi-award winning website, so there is no cold calling needed, all warm leads that are super keen to buy from you.
You will be fully trained by our management team on using our sales process to ensure you match the right product to the customer's needs, using excellent product knowledge. We don't expect you to be an expert when you start! There is a lot to learn about these specialist products, so we will spend hours training you on everything you need to know. Then you will be an expert.
You will take time to understand your customer's project, where will the product be going, who will be using it and how. Then you can present the customer with a number of options and explain the features and benefits of our incredible range. Our customers are both buying for themselves for their own homes, but also businesses fitting out company games rooms, student accommodation, pubs, bars, holiday parks, bowling alleys etc.

We are a fast-growing company with a preference to promote to our management team from within - the majority of our senior management team started their careers as part of our sales team and have grown their careers from there. Skills and experience you must have:
- Be articulate and able to speak clearly and with confidence
- Be able to retain a lot of product information and explain this to customers
- Comfortable with using computer software to manage phone calls, recording customer enquiries on our system, reading spreadsheets with stock information

Working Days/Hours:

Pool Table Delivery Driver - Temporary
Rate of pay: £12.50 per hour
The role:
Join our awesome team of 10 existing team members delivering and installing exciting home games room products, ranging from slate bed pool tables, pinball machines, jukeboxes to arcade machines.
The role is great fun, but yet very physically demanding. You will be required to have a full clean UK driving licence. The job role will usually involve installing and delivering products nationwide. As we cover a substantial geographical area, we schedule an installation day of 4 to 5 appointments. There may be some days where you will be helping the warehouse team.
You must be prepared for some long days and heavy lifting.
Daily tasks will include:
- Installing and delivering products to customers homes and into commercial businesses
- Delivering market-leading customer service
- Driving
- Stock organisation and picking
- A keen eye for detail and personal organisation
- Willingness to learn about the products
- Problem-solving
Working Days/Hours:
This is based on working a 40 hour week, starting at 5am from our Avonmouth Distribution Centre. You will work Monday to Friday each week. We don't operate on weekends.
Rate of Pay: £12.50 per hour
Significant Overtime available: £500 per month overtime, based on our current working hours
Some days can take longer than others. On average you will generally work 10 hours overtime per week. We try to balance the runs so you don't get two long days back to back.
Excellent Tips: £100 per week, but cannot be guaranteed!
Our customers appreciate the work you do installing their new prized possession, so they will often give tips to the drivers. But bear in mind this is at their own discretion, so cannot be guaranteed.
