Testimonials:
One of Gareth's pupils at a Home Leisure Direct training session had this to say about Gareth and his teaching:
"The training went as well as expected and better. Gareth was incredibly helpful and provided some great professional insight into the game. As one of the more advanced players he'd taught, we were able to skip a lot of the fundamentals which he would normally bring to the session. Instead he made some minor adjustments to what he considered a very good foundation in respect of my cueing ability, approach to the table and technique.
"I had done my homework prior to the session and brought some key frustrations of mine to the session including safety play and the break.
"I am still working on my break and I've had some triumphs and pitfalls along the way but I feel I am now on the right path. I was a little naive in that he didn't endorse a breaking cue which I continued to use and I have only recently started breaking with my natural cue. I think I owe this to the adjustments he has made to my overall cueing so I am now able to break with force whilst maintaining an accurate and controlled cueball.
"The minor changes he has made to my cueing is starting to show in my game now and I have had a few people comment on how well I'm cueing and how my game has improved.
"I really can't thank Gareth enough as the minor changes made to my technique have really made a great improvement to my game."
