Specialist Coaching Sessions with Cue Sports' Finest
Sometimes players need a seasoned professional to look over their style of play to truly take their playing ability to the next stage, which is precisely what these coaching sessions are meant to provide. Each coach is a dedicated professional pool player with numerous titles to their name, and ready to put players through their paces in order to bring out the best in their ability.
We offer three different types of sessions: a half-day, a full day, and special exhibitions (coach dependent).
The half-day training is ideal for those looking for an introductory session in which to really concentrate on a few aspects of their game. The half day includes training on basics such as stance, grip, bridge hand and cue action, and then moves on to cover all aspects of ball control, from side spin to screw back. Additionally, you'll be coached on some more complex aspects of the game such as playing doubles, getting out of snookers and spotting ball patterns, before moving onto practice routines, that will rapidly improve your play, for you to go away with and practice on your own.
The full day's pool coaching will also involve the players talking you through the psychology behind playing the game and how temperament and mental approach to a match can make all the difference.
Ben Flack
Ben Flack is Home Leisure Direct's own resident pool master, and one of the most decorated English Pool players in the South West of England having won numerous Pool Masters tournaments over the years, as well as being an official member of the Team England Men's Pool Team. Ben is available to take players through their technique and find areas that can be strengthened to bring out their best.
Gareth Potts
Gareth has won the English Pool Association World Rules World Championship three times now; in 2005, 2007 and 2008; he has also won the Junior World 8 Ball Championship in 2000, has been ranked no. 1 on the IPA Tour from 2009 to 2012, and won the Chinese 8-Ball Masters in 2013 and 2014. Gareth is quite possibly the best 8-ball pool player of all time, and Home Leisure Direct have exclusively secured a range of different training sessions with him, available to you.
